8 frame spacers are used to space frames in a box out to 8 frames instead of 10. This is great for getting the bees to draw thicker frames in honey supers. You need 2 spacers per box.

Please note these spacers are for a standard 10-frame Langstroth box, in order to space 8 frames out equally in the space. This is not a spacer for fitting inside of an 8-frame Langstroth box.
