Founded primarily with Wild Antho stock, Bulkley Valley queens could be expected to preserve many of their desirable traits. However, Bulkley Valley is located in a very northerly part of the province, and these queens originate from overwintering stock. This may be a great option in particular for those beekeepers who experience more extreme BC climates. The ETA July 10th and September 5th delivery is hybridized with Ukrainian Carpathian stock, chosen for expected suitability with the local climate.
