This feeder is constructed of a heavy-duty, single piece plastic to provide a no-leak reservoir! Wooden surrounding measures 4½" x 19⅝" (11.43 cm x 49.85 cm) and fits all standard 10 frame equipment. Pro Tip from Mann Lake (distributor): If this feeder runs completely empty or the syrup level gets very low, bees may crowd under the screen and struggle to find their way back, which can lead to drowning. To help prevent this, you can apply a bead of food-grade caulking along the bottom of the screen.
